Mindless Eating - free presentation courtesy of USD 259The Wichita Public Schools proudly presents Brian Wansink, Ph.D., the world-renowned
food scientist at Cornell University, for a free presentation about "Mindless Eating" on Thursday, Oct. 28th, at
7:30 p.m. at the Hughes Metropolitan Complex, Lowe Auditorium, at 29th & Oliver.
The Mindless Method is NOT
a "diet." It's an online program that creates a personalized plan to help you easily change your eating habits
and environment so that you avoid unhealthy "Mindless Eating" and lose weight without giving up the foods you love.
The public is invited to attend this free community health and wellness event. Superintendent John Allison, a Healthy
Wichita Champion, will introduce Dr. Wansink.
"The best diet is the one you don't know you are on"
says Dr. Brian Wansink. That is the Mindless Method.

How to wash your hand properly: 1. Wet hands with running
water 2. Pump soap into hands 3. Rub together to make a lather 4. Scrub hands vigorously for 15 seconds 5. Be sure to clean under fingernails 6. Rinse soap off hands 7. Dry hands thoroughly 8. Use a dry paper
towel to turn water off
Easy, right?! Please let the SCHD Health Promotion staff know if we can assist with hand
washing presentations or poster distribution for your work place. Call us at 316.660.7251.
